"Common ground"

show #4 - Wageningen, Netherlands

In conjunction with the festival Aan Hogerwal

“ Do you have permission to paint here? “

‘ Do you have a proper job?’ ‘

‘ Are you Banksy?’

These are some of the questions that people ask us.

These are some of the flavours of the shared experience of painting in the streets. Add to that the laughter of your peers, the many smells of the city mingling with the colourful chemical sprays, voices behind you, sirens and the sound of metal beads clogging up the cans, and you’ll have a family portrait.

Even though the last few decades have shown that there are a thousand ways of doing graffiti and street art, we can still find common ground.

This group aims to showcase the diversity of graffiti and street art movements by displaying sprayed voices from around the world ; more than 30 artists from 15 different countries are showcased here.

Our art network continues to grow !
